Our research interest is to investigate muscle development, signaling and maintenance, by studying the biological role of sarcomeric and muscle associated proteins. Specifically, we are interested in the molecular origins and pathways associated with the development and progression of human cardiac and skeletal myopathies. Select an option below to learn more about the basics of cross-striated muscles, or the projects in the lab investigating muscle formation, maintenance, signaling and disease. |
